If your VN-EZ1U Internet Viewcam requires service, it must be sent to the following Sharp Authorized Service Center:

Please send the unit with an insured, traceable carrier such as UPS or FedEx. Include a note as to the problem, a password if one is used, your return information, and a day time phone number that you may be reached. If the organizer is under warranty please include a copy of the receipt. The normal turn around time for service is 7-10 business days.

| How long does the battery last?
|
| Battery life varies according to the Viewcam's ® operation. The use of zoom and other functions increase power consumption, so actual recording time may be reduced. Extended-life batteries may be purchased separately. |

| If I leave the battery in the camera will it damage the camera?
|
| Like most battery-powered products, it's best to remove batteries when not in use for a long time to avoid possible damage to batteries and/or Viewcam ®. |

| Can an adaptor be used to play my 8mm tape in my VHS VCR?
|
| With the Sharp Viewcam ®, there's no need to use an adaptor to play 8 mm tape. Simply connect the Viewcam ® to the TV or VCR for playback. You can even use your VCR to make a copy onto VHS tape. |

| Can my Viewcam ® be used overseas? |
| Yes! The Viewcam ® comes supplied with a universal A/C Adaptor, which will accommodate from 110-240 volts and 50 or 60 hertz. You may need to purchase a plug adaptor for the different type of sockets. |

| Why does the Sharp Viewcam ® use the 8mm format? |
| At Sharp, we feel that 8mm is the best tape format available due to the small, compact size, long 2-1/2 hour record time, and high quality audio/video performance.

| How does the Viewcam ® perform in sun light? |
| Very well because of the 1% low reflectivity color LCD view screen. The color LCD view screen absorbs 99% of all reflective light, thus reducing "wash out". Sharp is a leader in LCD technology. |

| I can't insert the cassette into my Viewcam ®. |
| Check to see if you have a source of power to your Viewcam ®. We suggest using either the supplied battery or the A/C Adaptor. For further assistance, contact us at 1-800-BE-SHARP. |

| The date and time needs to be reset each time I turn on my Viewcam ®. |
| The Memory Backup battery many need to be replaced. We recommend replacing it with any type of CR205 Lithium Ion Battery. Please consult your operator manual for detail instructions on Installing the Memory Backup Battery.

| I can't get a picture on my television when I have my Viewcam ® connected into my VCR. |
| Make sure the Viewcam ® is connected (cable supplied) to an A/V input on your VCR. Set your VCR to the Line In or Auxiliary mode. Turn the Viewcam ® to Camera or VCR mode if playing back tape. Viewcam ® image should appear, if not call 1-BE-SHARP. |

| I do not get the estimated amount of recording time from my battery.
|
| All battery times are estimates. Maximum battery time will be achieved by less frequent use of zoom, digital circuits and auto focus. We recommend following the instructions in your operator manual for proper recharging procedures for your battery. |

| How do I maintain the screen on my Viewcam ®? |
| We suggest using a "Lint-free" type of cloth (such as a silk cloth) to clean off any fingerprints from the LCD screen. We do not recommend using any type of glass cleaner or liquid, such as water.

| Can I "audio dub" onto my Viewcam ®? |
| No. The audio and video signals are recorded on the same track, thus not allowing audio dubbing to be possible on our 8 millimeter Viewcam ®. |

| The "DEW" indicator is illuminated on my Viewcam ®, what do I do to turn it off? |
| This means there is moisture inside the Viewcam ®. Try taking the tape out, leaving the cassette compartment open for 2 hours to allow any condensation to evaporate. If the DEW indicator is still illuminated call a Sharp authorized servicer. |

| Can I record from my Viewcam ® onto a VHS cassette? |
| Yes you can! The most important step when dubbing from 8 millimeter to VHS, is setting the VCR that the unit is being hooked to, to the Auxiliary Mode. We suggest consulting the operator manual for your VCR for the instructions on how to set that.
